If the seller is already in the process of shipping your purchase, you cannot request cancellation. See if it shows on this page - https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/buyers-can-cancel-order/buyers-can-cancel-order?id=4004&st=3&pos=2&query=How%20buyers%20can%20cancel%20an%20order&intent=Canc&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1019
if it does, select it there and submit the cancellation request. You are asking the seller to cancel, not actually cancelling your purchase.
