The buyer wants to shop more, but they may check out early.
Why does Ebay allow "The buyer wants to shop more, but they may check out early.", which allows a completed sale to not be paid within the timeframe stated in the auction.
I have a sale that ended 4/28 and the buyer selected "The buyer wants to shop more, but they may check out early." and may not pay until May 5th.
Since this is allowed, why can't I select "The seller wants to take up to 8 days to ship your item after payment is received but may ship earlier."?
I have to ship the item within 3 days of payment-the buyer should have to pay within 3 days of purchasing regardless of wanting to shop more.
Thoughts? And how can I file a complaint directly with Ebay on this policy?
Any positive feedback is appreciated.

Mentor5 months agoAll sellers were opted into autopay for auctions and Best Offers. There were many complaints about paying within 1 hour if the buyer wanted to bid on multiple items since the seller offers a discount for combined shipping. That is when ebay added the option to allow the buyer to continue shopping and pay at the end of 7 days. You can opt out of autopay or opt out of combined shipping.
