The buyer returned the item to me and removed some parts from my item.
The buyer bought a mini printer, pulled out the paper holder, a roll of paper, and stated the reason for the return as if the printer was not working, which is not true, and sent it back to me. I was not given the opportunity to deduct the amount from the refund, what should I do in this situation?

I see that you have buyer pays return on this listing AND are Top Rated so you should have been able to report the Buyer THEN reduce the refund amount since the printer was reduced in value. You can't reduce the refund amount until you report the buyer from the return request.

OP1 year agoI have already sent a report about the buyer but I still have no way to deduct the amount. And I can only send him the entire amount of money. I don’t know what to do next. The buyer does not respond to my messages. The parts were taken out from the inside and could not have been damaged during delivery.

Mentor1 year agoIt sounds like the seller protection feature is locked for some reason. You can try contacting CS. I recommend social media as the agents are a bit more experienced and no language barrier. Make sure that you make it CLEAR that you are not asking eBay to step in and are willing to process the refund according to eBay Policy. Otherwise they might just go ahead and close the case in the buyers favor and then you get a DEFECT and do not get your sellers fees back.
