The buyer of my item lives near me and wants to pick it up. How do I let EBay know?

The buyer lives nearby and wants to pick up the item, and I agree. Do I need to inform eBay after the item is picked up?

In order for you to prove to eBay that the Buyer picked up to item, you need to have Local Pickup as an option in the listing. The Buyer then needs to select that at checkout. Ebay will then send the Buyer a QR code for you to scan at pick up, plus a six-digit code for you to enter manually instead.

If you are not going to ship, you would need to cancel and have the Buyer repurchase with Local Pickup.

I have free Local Pickup in all my listings for this reason.
