The buyer is evading responsibility
I accidentally opened and closed my return because I wanted my money back.
I still did not receive the item.
Tracking says USPS awaits item.
The order is delayed.
It has been over a week, yet the seller still hasn't shipped my item. When I message them, they don't reply. Now, eBay won't let me open a case for a non-delivered item because I mistakenly opened a return case instead—I did this at the time because I wanted to get my money back quickly. What should I do now?

What you do now is request a chargeback from your credit or debit card company IF you don’t receive the item. [eBay cannot help us once we’ve closed a return request … and a return request obviously is the wrong claim to open when we haven’t received anything at all.]

OP5 months agoIf I do that, will my account be locked? After all, I'm only one day past the ETA.

It don’t know why your account would be ‘locked’.
You can try opening an ‘Item not received’ claim from your Purchase History before going to your card company … but that process likely would take longer. You seem to want a fast refund.
