Tesla Model Y rim cracked in less than 1 year – no response from seller

I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has gone through something similar.

I purchased a Tesla Model Y rim from an eBay seller [Removed by mod] on June 25, 2025. The rim has now cracked in less than one year under normal driving conditions in San Francisco — no accidents or major impacts.

I contacted the seller but have not received any response.

Has anyone dealt with a similar situation or found any solution in cases like this?

eBay offers a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, so after a year you do not have any recourse through eBay. If the seller offered a warranty, you would need to contact the manufacturer usually, though you would also typically have needed to register the warranty when you received the item.
