Terrible experience with Ebay and one its merchants, Rena J. Shamie
I ordered a pump from Rena J Shanie. She sent me the wrong pump, which was also damaged. I tried to return it and was told that they did not take back items and that it was the wrong item. I sent a picture of the item. They claimed that the other side of the box showed that it was the right item. I tried to send a picture of the other side of the box, but they did not respond. I paid almost as much for postage as for the item. The item was $16 and their shipping fee was $13.50. I had a plumber here and he agreed that I was correct and that this was an outrage. I am so upset. Please do not be scammed by this seller. I tried to contact Ebay to get there help and spent 1/2 hour trying to deal with the virtual assistant, which was impossible. It did not respond to what I said and get giving pat responses to questions or statement I did not make. I will never buy from Ebay again.

You have 30 days from date of delivery to file an item not as described refund request on eBay. Did you file the return request within that time?
You are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. This not only gets you a full refund but also goes on the sellers record. A seller can NOT refuse a return filed within 30 days of the date of delivery when it's a not as described refund request.

Doesn't match pictures or description. Or wrong item sent. ( if you select a remorse reason such as doesn't fit, then the seller can deny the return)
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label OR sent the funds to your PayPal account to pay return shipping if they are in another country then ask eBay to step in and help:

If you have to purchase a label at the post office with the funds that the seller provided be sure to upload the tracking number into the case. The tracking number is your proof of delivery.
Returns to countries that do not have 1st class delivery confirmation MUST be shipped Priority Mail.

If it's over 30 days then you can contact your bank or credit card for a chargeback for an item that is significantly not as described.
