We wanted to let you know that you have been temporarily restricted from selling and buying on eBay because of concerns about your seller account. This must be frustrating, but measures like these help keep our marketplace safe for everyone.
Here’s what you should do
Please get in touch as soon as you can by going to the Help & Contact page below and selecting Contact Us. We’ll just need to ask you a few questions to verify your account so you can get back up and running again. If we don’t hear from you within 30 days, your account may be at risk of being suspended.
In the meantime, your listings have been moved to your Unsold folder, and we credited any associated fees to your account. You can find the listings we moved below. As soon as your account has been reactivated, you’ll be able to relist these items.
This decision was made through automation. If you have any questions or concerns, just get in touch. We appreciate you being part of the eBay community and we’re here to help you get back on track.

I tried to call them 10 times since yesterday & they are telling me the same thing account has been restricted & its non-appealable restriction as in the message they said call us & we will resolve the issue.
I do not understand what's happening here can someone help me please? Thanks

OP11 months agoThanks for your reply much appreciated. I have been trying on e-bay.ca. Called the e-bay.ca seller support than they connected me to concern department too but they are not asking me any questions as per the e-bay but just telling me the account has been restricted for the community safety. I do not understand what the hell is happening with the e-bay as its a new account created & new listings & straight away account suspended no sales listing was done yesterday & removed after half an hour. how come its a thread to the ebay community as we just started.......Can you guide me what can do to reactivate my account as e-bay.ca is not helping at all

OP11 months agoI have created a new account e-bay.ca on 20th Aug-2025 & after the fee was deducted from my e-bay account for the store creation i listed the new products almost 17 listing on 25th_Aug-2025. Once i was done with the listing then after 30 mins i received above e-mail & the account was temporarily restricted & listing was moved to unsold. Now since that i have been trying to call the e-bay 10 different time but everyone on e-bay seller support & security team told me that the account has been restricted due to threat to community & cannot be reinstated as the e-bay its said in the e-mail they want to ask some questions & account will be reinstated. Can someone help me what should i do now to reinstate my account? Thanks
