Telephone number for ebay...where someone answers the phone
Does anyone have a viable telephone number for ebay? I keep on complaining about an item I purchased where the seller actually lied in their ad about what this item does. To send it back, (the seller will not pay for return postage) would cost me $32.00. I've tried and tried finding eBay's telephone number. Help me if you have any idea what it is.

Mentor2 weeks agoebay has not had a public phone number that can be used since the pandemic. You have to go through the HELP & CONTACT link to get a call back.
ebay's Money Back Guarantee expires 30 days after receipt of the item.
Go to My ebay > Purchase History
Locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on More to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. ebay sends you a link to print out the label. Print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click on Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
