Technical issues with my account
For past 5 days the system won't let me put items in my Watch Box, bid on anything or buy anything, getting very frustrated.

What operating system version are you using? Many mac users with OS 10 versions seem to have problems lately, along with some OS 11 users if they cannot install the latest version of a popular browser.
Do you have another computer or a phone you can use to add items to your Watch List or to bid or add items to your cart?

I'm not really technically minded I have a 5 1/2 year old Apple I Mac desktop computer (21 2 3) don't have another computer or a phone that is set up for ebay, I can look at stuff , but around 4 days ago when I went to put a bid in for something, the mouse wouldn't click on the bid now tab, It won't let me put anything in my watch box, I last bought something a week ago , been using Bay for 14 years with no problems.
Can't find a UK telephone number for Customer Services.

Mentor2 years agoI don't really know if the problem is due to an unintended change on eBay's end that is likely to get fixed soon, or if eBay is gradually tightening security requirements and that many more older computers with older operating systems will start to have similar problems -- or whether you might start to run into similar problems with other sites as well.
Your computer does not sound that old, though.
It might be worth trying to install the latest version of a browser like Firefox and see if that allows you to continue to use eBay.
