Teacher discount
Hi, I have a question regarding if there's a teacher discount by eBay. I came across an online source that said there is a $15 teacher discount for people who work in education to use on eBay. However, I've not seen any indication of where to find or activate that kind of discount nor how to contact eBay directly if that's true.

Oh really?!? My gut says it's Urban Legend on that subject ... but I could be wrong. So WHAT source stated that and why didn't they provide links to how one goes about applying for that discount?

OP2 years agoThe only indication of getting the discount was to verify teacher credentials through the eBay website or app. But I haven't seen any kind of verification link to go through that process. At least not that I've seen yet.

Mentor2 years ago@alexirig95 Maybe at one time it was part of the registration process for new accounts ... or maybe for schools selling off used materials supplies or furniture (desks, etc). I have PA Teaching certificate but was never a permanent teacher ... but I don't recall anything about a special discount.
