I am being charged extra sales tax. It has been correct (8.25% - TX) for years but now my last 3 items have been 10.5% and 13%, Ideas?

Mentor8 months agoIs your delivery address in the state of Texas?
If so, you should know that the state of Texas requires eBay to collect sales taxes on not only the price of the item, but also on the shipping/handling price you pay.
If you've never been charged sales taxes that were more than the regular sales tax percentage for your area, it seems possible that you have always bought things that had no additional shipping price in the listing, also known as "free shipping."
