Hello, how do I keep sales tax from being collected by Ebay on gold & silver bullion. Ohio does not charge sales tax on Gold & Silver bullion as it is recognized as money in Ohio. Here is one of the many links I googled https://www.soundmoneydefense.org/gold-silver-laws-ohio

·3 years agoIt doesn't matter where the item is located, the sales tax is based on the state that the item is being shipped to.
