Mentor3 weeks agoSales tax is based on the category the item is listed in and not the item itself. If the seller listed the item in a taxable category then sales tax will be charged. Sellers choose what category they list in not eBay. Check with your State to see how to claim a refund for the sales tax.

i contacted the seller and they said they listed it correctly. i just wont buy from them again.
