You will need to petition your state's sales tax authority and the state will issue a refund if (in fact) the tax was erroneously charged.
Remember that sales tax on Ebay is assessed according to the category the item is listed in, not according to the actual item. For instance, an item may be non-taxable in the proper category, but if the seller listed it in the incorrect taxable category, you would be assessed sales tax.

Mentor1 year ago??? Are you talking about sales tax? If so you have to contact your state's revenue department on how to get a credit.
