Tax Refund Request SR# 1-470390494831
First off this problem has been going on since May of 2023 with "No Help I Site". eBay unjustly collected $827.37 tax from me which I have been trying to get back. Here is the sad emails that I have received from Supervisors claiming to that my case was escalated...

OP2 years agoI seem to randomly get charged sales tax at checkout on silver bullion and coins purchases. I'm in Ohio and do not get charged sales tax for silver bullion/coins purchases. As a case in point of the randomness: paid for 2 purchases on successful bids I made. On one no sales tax and on the other was charged a sales tax. Checked how each seller listed their items foreach listing. Both had listed in category "Bullion >Silver > Coins". Now I have to call into customer service and request refund of the sales tax, get a SR number and wait 6 months for the refund to be credited back. Each purchase taken one at a time would hardly seem worth the time and effort to follow up, but I make silver & gold purchases several times a week and maybe one out of 10 purchases is charged the sales tax and it adds up, now totaling $827.37. Can anyone shed any light on why this appears randomly charging a sales tax and why does it take eBay so long to reimburse the charge. They tell you 60 business days, just long enough to not get out of a Credit Card dispute, but I actually have outstanding refunds going back to May 2023 which I have to periodically follow up on.
Thank you
