Tax on monetary purchase
I was charged sales tax on a recent order for a monetary purchase (old $2 bill). How do I get the tax removed, credited, or returned since it was automatically charged on my PayPal account?

Mentor4 months agoSales tax is charged based on the category the item is listed in so if the seller lists the item in a taxable category you will be charged the sales tax. You would need to contact your States sales tax authority to see how to claim a refund.
