Tax on items sold
I have a buyer who wants to back out of a sale because eBay charged tax on an item he believes shouldn't be taxed. He paid, but now wants me to cancel the sale. The tax was less than $5.00. How would you handles this?

Mentor10 months agoIf you haven't shipped and the buyer wants to cancel, then cancel. Nothing good can come of shipping something that the buyer no longer wants. That being said, you do not control tax. That is applied by eBay and they don't do it mistakenly. It sounds like your buyer is mistaken. But don't point that out. Just say that you would be glad to cancel.
