Tax on items
I’m wondering why I have to pay tax on items that have already been taxed maybe two or three times over. These are used items that at one time were sales taxed. Most of these items are also out of state. I don’t believe there is a good and solid tax code that forces me to pay tax on items that have already met sales tax requirements. This is Just what we need to do is pay the government more of our hard earned money. This should be looked into much deeper. It feels illegal.

Mentor2 years agoIt doesn't matter that the item is used. You pay sales tax on purchases at antique and stores as well. eBay, as well as other online marketplace sites, is required by law to collect sales tax and remit it back to the state based on the sales tax laws of recipient's state - not the seller's state.
