TAX ON COINS
IF I purchase a set of US coins from a seller in New Hampshire (a state that charges no tax on US coins) and I live in Texas (also a state that charges no tax on US coins) and get charged tax will eBay refund it if I request them to do that?

Mentor8 months agoNo, once sales tax is collected it goes to your state. eBay will not refund sales tax just because you think it was collected in error, unless the entire purchase is being refunded, not just the tax portion.
Whether sales tax is collected depends on the law in the location the item is shipped to, but also on the category the item is listed in. It is possible for a nontaxable item to be listed in a taxable category and have taxes collected as a result.
