Tax exemptions for Florida on generators
I purchased a generator and was charged a sales tax in the state of Florida. We are tax exempt on generators. I’m reaching out to eBay, but all I get is AI interface you cannot talk to anybody. All I get is bounced around.

Mentor1 year agoTax exemptions for portable generators only started yesterday (7/1/25) in Florida. It is not clear whether the Florida department of revenue has updated ebay on this yet. You will need to call the department and find out and also how to get a tax credit.
