How do I register for tax exempt status when purchasing an item?

Mentor2 years agoYou need to register your account as exempt from sales taxes and submit forms to eBay:

Once the forms have been approved, your future purchases shipped to your state will be exempt from your state sales tax.
Note that if you have some purchases that are not tax exempt, you will need to use a different account for those purchases so tax can be collected.
