Tarriff refunds
Last year I purchased over $10K in goods from china who's prices were inflated to cover the Hugh tarriffs.
How do I get a refund and why isn't Ebay automating this?

Mentor5 months ago@mrstimpy. eBay doesn't have the tariff money, the government does. So far I haven't heard about a process for individuals to receive tariff refunds.

OP5 months agoThanks for reply, i know Ebay does not have the tariff money. But as a money transmitter, ebay should be helping customers who paid tariffs in the total price recover the illegal excess money. It's a big job and a hassle but Ebay knows the tracking of all international purchases and the corresponding tariffs in effect at the time of purchase.
They should be helping, maybe with a class action claim.
At a minimum, a documented list of amount paid and country of purchase, calculate the tariff amount, and assist with government forms and processes to recover money.
