First let me thank you for your time and help! Here is what eBay sent me and I have to recourse to follow up and speak to someone about this issue. The software on the website says it expires in several months and it is supposed to be lifetime. The software is registered to the seller (I assume??) and not me! Now he is not a registered seller just days after the purchase. To be honest, I do not feel secure about this and deleted it off my PC. Below is a copy of what eBay sent me:
Hello jimmythejeweler, It looks like you may have been in touch with masselja0 and we want to let you know that some security concerns have come up with this account. We recommend taking some precautions to make sure your account stays secure.
Here's what you should do Stop all communication with masselja0. Don’t respond to their offers to buy or sell an item. Don’t respond to requests to change your order or shipping information. @jimmythejeweler If I understand correctly then you bought software from this bad seller.
Did the seller email the link to activate this software of mail it?
If they just emailed you a linked then file an item not received refund request and you will win the case since the seller doesn't have tracking to prove delivery.
Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when the item is at least a day late.
Select your item on this page to start a refund request:
OR f they mailed you the software return it using the reason doesn't match pictures or description.
I am sorry that you had a bad seller. You are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. This not only gets you a full refund but also goes on the sellers record. You have 30 days from date of delivery to file an item not as described refund request on eBay.
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label OR sent the funds to your PayPal account to pay return shipping if they are in another country then ask eBay to step in and help:
If you have to purchase a label at the post office with the funds that the seller provided be sure to upload the tracking number into the case. The tracking number is your proof of delivery. Returns to countries that do not have 1st class delivery confirmation MUST be shipped Priority Mail.
See this link to the USPS website that shows which countries have delivery confirmation for 1st class international packages.
We can help with most buying and selling questions and save you time, we are experienced eBay Mentors who know eBay's policies and procedures. If you ask us your question we'd be happy to help you.

Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
2. Click Automated chat on the left hand side of the screen. ( Trust me)
3. Type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the correct department. If the bot asks another question after you answered type AGENT again. Then you will see the option to request a call back or live chat.
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
4. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
This is a JOKE of customer service. I detest a company that does not have an agent to speak with as in a HUMAN!! I have been with eBay since payments were made with USPS and it costs a small amount to list and sell an item. Now there is TOO MUCH MICRO MANAGING This is why I prefer NOT to sell much here anymore.
99% of the issues I have ever had with this company is with eBay's system or their new and wonderful policy's etc. I have always been found correct in all my dealings.
eBay started this communication about a seller of computer security software and have given me no recourse to address this issue. WHY?? This is not how to run a business!!
@jimmythejeweler What I got from your reply is that eBay sent you a message that you are very unhappy about. I have no idea exactly what the message said although you mention "a seller of computer security software "
Please answer ALL 3 of these questions so I can offer advice. Or you can contact customer service.
