Taken advantage of on an expensive watch
I purchased a TAG watch in November. I paid over $400 for the watch, and it ws advertised to be "new old stock". It's a dive watch, but when I wore it in the rain, it fogged up and quit working. The seller told me that I should have known better, that it was a "vintage" watch. I like the watch, so I took it to a jewelry store to have it repaired. They couldn't repair it and recommended that I send it back to the manufacturer. TAG said that parts are unavailable for this watch, so I won't be able to get new gaskets and make it water resistant up to 200 meters like it was described. Now 3 months have passed and I have nothing but a broken watch and I'm out $400. Is there any recourse at this point?
