System Glitching
Wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the app glitching lately. I keep getting system error messages and a lot of buffering when scrolling the home screen. When scrolling through my own listings, keep getting page reloading messages. This just started only over the past few days. I wonder if this issue is affecting my sales. Views and sales have diminished over the past few days as well. I'm a little concerned. Is anyone else having this issue?

OP6 months agoThank you for your response. It is only happening on my phone so far, the desktop is working fine. My phone operating version is Android 13 and the ebay version I have installed is 6.244.0.1 Says it's compatible with version 10 and above and works with my phone. This only started happening a few days ago and seems to have gotten worse. It will buffer and buffer until I get off the home screen and go back, then it will buffer at the same spot in scrolling again.
I do have the option to shake the phone at the point of the technical issue. I will definitely try that and and reinstalling the app after rebooting my phone. Hopefully, if that doesn't work, ebay will be able to fix the problem. I thought it was the conversion to the seller hub version that did it, so I reverted back to the standard myebay version. I guess I'll go back to the seller hub since that doesn't seem to be the issue, as it's still happening. Thanks again for the pointers.

What operating system version number and app version number are you using?
App issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active if that feature is enabled and the app is still running.
If you have not already tried, it might be worth uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, then installing the latest version of the eBay app. The restart in between should ensure a clean install, which may help if the problem is related to a past installation.
If that does not help or if your operating system does not support the latest version of the eBay app, uninstall the app and use a browser to reach ebay.com instead.
