Switch from media mail to hand delivery after sale
I had an items listed for sale with shipping via USPS. After making the sale, I learned the person who bought the items lived right down the street from me. I contacted the customer, asked if he would prefer I hand deliver, and he said he would prefer hand delivery. I hand delivered, but now cannot figure out how to change the method of delivery so that it shows the customer received the items. I marked the items as shipped, but the status is just going to be stuck on shipped and never move to delivered. Any advice?

Mentor1 year agoSince there will be no tracking number, you will just have to wait 30 days for your payout. ebay will send your payout if the buyer does not file an Item Not Received. In the future, I would just ship the item.

OP1 year agoSeems strange to not be able to report the item was hand delivered, but I guess it's a rare occurrence. But thank you for the response. It is much appreciated.
