Swapping items sent to wrong buyers
I mixed up two shipping labels and each customer received the others items. I need to print labels or create labels to send to the customers to be printed and placed on the packages that will effectively swap packages. How can I do this??

Mentor2 years agoNo, that's not how you do it. You need to have the buyers open returns for items that are not as described so you can send them prepaid labels to have the packages come back to you. Then you can send the packages to the correct buyers.
You can't disclose the personal information (name and address) about another buyer. I know...it's costly and time-consuming, but fixing mistakes can be costly and time-consuming.
Be sure to enter the new tracking numbers to the original transaction when you reship. Then contact eBay to let them know you have sent replacements and show them the tracking numbers and communications between you.
With a return, you have two days to refund or eBay will do it automatically from your account, so be sure you have reshipped and contacted them before the deadline so they don't refund.
When you contact eBay, you will want to speak with them rather than using chat. At the link below, you can request a call back from eBay by clicking Have us call you on the left side of the page. If you don't see that option, click Chat with our automated assistant. Then type "agent" at the bottom in the chat box. You'll see an option to request a call back there.
