Suspicious seller

Message 1
Hi, Happy New Year, and congratulations on winning the auction on my OMEGA Constellation watch. To complete the transaction, it's my understanding that I need your preferred shipping address (and any specifics you might want or require) so I can send an invoice with total pricing.
Please let me know the address at your nearest convenience, given the time limit to respond per ebay rules. I'm hoping, respectfully, that you are completely "legit" as I have listed the watch, had successful bid winners at higher prices - but as evidently can happen with ebay, one winner asked to cancel the order, and the other never responded after winning the bid.
So please understand and let me know so we can take the next step to finalize per ebay policies. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks again, and have a great day!

Hi again,
WOW! Thank you for paying so fast. Since I sent you an email to make sure you are "real", I felt it was appropriate to also let you know that I see you've initiated payment and provided an address for shipping.
Unless you direct me otherwise, I will go to a trusted UPS Store tomorrow (assuming they are open despite the MLK holiday) to confirm all appropriate shipping charges. I'll also call ebay to make sure I understand and execute each step as immediately as possible according to ebay policies and procedures (I haven't sold anything on ebay - if ever at all - in MANY years).
Just letting you know that I am legitimate and look forward to finalizing this transaction and making sure you receive the OMEGA Constellation watch as soon as possible.
Thank you!

·3 years agoSounds like a new seller who just does not know what they are doing. Nothing to worry about because you are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee if you do not receive the watch or if it is defective or not as described.
