Suspicious offers
Good Morning, I have a listing that I get several offers on that has a shipping address in St Augustine FL but shows the buyer being from Columbia, is this a scam or legit? Does Ebay have a hub in Florida? Thanks

One thing you want to make sure that you do is watch the tracking history on eBay for delivery to that freight forwarding company. I had one customer from Pamana with a Miami based forwarding company. The local USPS carrier NEVER scanned it delivered to the forwarding company. I almost lost an Item not received claim until I called the forwarding company who confirmed they got the package, shipped it to the customer AND had confirmed delivery. I messaged the Buyer with that information and asked them to close the eBay claim and they did ... otherwise I would have been out $ 210.00.

·1 year agoEbay does not publish where their hubs are located. If you're eligible and enrolled in EIS (Ebay International Shipping) and you've accepted the offer it will give you the address where to send it (in your instance FL).
As long as the destination country is valid for shipment to you are fine. You can find a list of supported countries here: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options/ebay-international-shipping-program?id=5348
To see whether you are opted into the EIS program, check your Shipping preferences below. You can opt out of EIS at any time by updating your Shipping preferences option here: https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf
