Suspicious Buyer
I have been getting messages from a Buyer in Kazakhstan who says that he has questions about an item I am selling. He keeps asking for my email address and phone number. I have told him to ask his questions on the eBay message platform. He will not do that, and now claims that he wants to buy my item outside of eBay and pay for it by Paypal. I assume this is a scam. How do I notify eBay to block this Buyer? He is persistent.

Mentor4 months agoAll communications for your eBay items should come through eBay messages. Always keep your own communications through eBay.

Yes it is a scam attempt. You can block the buyer from purchasing and contacting you through messages.

You can report the message asking to take off eBay by using the 3 dots icon at the top.
