Suspected Scam!
Today i received a message from a support_344028 claiming to need info to verify account before payment. Sad to say, I fell for it to a point. Asked for card info and then it asked for paypal info. All looked extremely legit. I started to get suspicious and closed out after having giving some info. Hope I'll be ok. After checking further, I saw suppoert_344028 is a member in the UK who joined Marck 2026. Watch for this. I received immediately after posting an item for sale. How do I report this to Ebay?

Mentor5 months ago@jerrymikemichael I am sorry that you fell for the scam. Be sure to report the fraud to your card company and get a new card RIGHT AWAY. Also change the password and secret questions on your eBay account, Paypal, and email. ALL 3 accounts should have different passwords.
Use the report option by clicking on the 3 dots on the upper right of the message.
Also add the member to your blocked list https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/BuyerBlock ( although it looks like they may have been removed already)
Messages from eBay will always have your First name and be in your eBay messages folder as FROM eBay. They will NEVER have a user ID.
