Supposed shipping restriction
Hello,
I am trying to buy a non-working air gun for parts. When I tried to place the bid, a red flag came up saying there was a problem with the bid because it could not be shipped to my area. I live in a rural Virginia county. There are no restrictions in my state that prohibit this to the best of my knowledge.
Can anyone explain this to me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mentor1 year agoIt sounds like the seller has an error in his/her shipping details, therefore shipping costs cannot be calculated, regardless of where the buyer lives.

What did the message say, exactly?
Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Any of those can prevent eBay from seeing your actual location and may cause problems buying certain items. If so, try purchasing while using the eBay app or a mobile browser while not connected to your usual network WiFi.
