Super strange seller

Question

I made this guy an offer that he excepted, but somethings not right. I don't think he has let ebay know I'm buying it. He's super strange about how he wants to be paid.

The only legitimate way to make the purchase is through an official eBay best offer. The only legitimate way to pay is by going through eBay checkout and using one of the payment methods eBay shows on the listing.

If the seller is suggesting anything other than what I wrote above, run like the wind. You can report the seller for soliciting an off-eBay transaction if that's what is happening here.

If the seller is asking you to pay for the item outside of eBay (not using the shopping cart and eBay checkout) you should RUN AWAY from that seller.

(There are a few exceptions like motor vehicles that can be paid in person, or through Caramel)

If the seller is asking for Gift Cards, Zelle, Crypto, etc, Do not pay. It's a scam
