Suggestion idea about refunds
I know it’s common practice to refund back to the original payment option used. I would like to see eBay make a refund preference selection for this so we could change refund destinations unless of course if a credit card was used. I think having the flexibility in this day and age is necessary.
Just thought I would mention it.

Mentor2 years agoA refund can only go back to where it originally came from. That is what makes it a refund.
Anything other than that is an entirely separate payment transaction, not a refund, and that would present a serious security risk.
Imagine noticing a large charge on your account that you do not recognize. When you report it, you are informed that a refund has been issued -- to a different account that is not actually yours. Someone was just refunded with your money, but it was not you.

OP2 years agoI definitely hear what you’re saying and with all due respect I see it this way. The payment originally came from me and it’s going back to me and that is the same place no matter which account of mine it is tied to.
I do also believe with proper verifications this is something that could be made into good option But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
â€â€2 Timothy‬ â€3‬:â€13‬ is also our sad reality so we do have to be prudent.
