Suddenly unable to view any Advanced Search features, namely Sold and Completed listings
 This feature was working fine 24 hours ago, but now I suddenly can't access any Advanced Search features on any items. I'm especially missing the Sold and Completed listing options. Is anyone else experiencing this issue or have tips to resolve it?
Things I've already tried:
1. Restarting app
2. Clearing cache
3. Restarting phone
4. Force stopping app
5. It is not due to an update, as my phone is a 2017 model and Ebay no longer provides app updates for it. Because of this, I have also been leery about uninstalling and reinstalling, because some apps I can't reinstall.

Mentor8 months agoFrom the screen in your image, are you able to scroll down further? There should be more options available below or a "show more" button to reveal them, depending on your "customize" settings. Normally the "show more" button should show when you open the menu, but that may not happen if your screen magnification or font size is set high.
I am using the Android version of the eBay app (6.239.0.2), and I can scroll down to see additional search options including the "sold" and "completed" options.

OP8 months agoPreviously, the "show more" option was available, but that is what has changed for me, it's no longer there. Everything you can see in my screenshot is all I can see.

Mentor8 months agoI have seen other recent complaints about missing "sold" or "completed" options, so it is possible that there is a particular app version number that has this issue, perhaps the iOS version? I only know that the latest Android version is working for me in this regard.
It looks like the "gear" icon of the "customize" menu option is peeking from behind the "Show 162 results" button, so you should be able to scroll down that menu. If not, it might be worth uninstalling the app, restarting your device, then installing the latest version. The restart in between should ensure a clean install.
If that does not help, which app version number are you using? The version number should appear at the bottom of the Settings menu, if you can scroll down to see it.

OP8 months agoI can tap on the gear icon, but that doesn't bring up any options that alleviate the issue for me.

As I stated in my original post, Ebay no longer provides app updates for my phone. The last time I was able to update the app was probably about 2 years ago. Many apps are no longer available for me to download from the Google App store, so I am trepidatious about uninstalling the app, as I may not be able to reinstall it, and therefore would be worse off than I am now.
This feature (advanced search options, i.e. "show more") has always worked for me, up until last night, when it suddenly disappeared. I'm curious if it is a temporary glitch or if Ebay has removed it from older app builds for some unexplained reason.

That may be the issue unfortunately.
Before you give up on the app entirely, though, can you reach the "see more" menu option if you change the screen magnification or change the font size? Or if you can get to the "customize" menu option there is an option to "expand all filters" that might help if it causes the scrolling to work for you.
If that does not help, you may have to abandon the app to use a mobile browser to search sold or ended items.

 I can view all of the available filtering options at the current font and magnification settings as shown in the first screenshot, what I'm looking for just isn't there anymore. The second screenshot shows my customized settings options. As you can see, I have "Expand All Filters" on.
