Recently I’ve noticed that many listings no longer allow buyers to make an offer or send a counteroffer, even when a seller is willing to negotiate through messages. This makes it difficult to complete a sale at an agreed‑upon price and is time consuming. I’m also seeing more listings where the item price is low but the shipping cost is inflated, which feels misleading. These changes remove flexibility. So I have a new plan. If I negotiate thru messaging and the seller agrees to a lower price I plan to ask if the item is also listed on Poshmark as their system is more organized and flexible. So it worked great last night when I ran into the inability to complete the sale at the agreed price I simply found it on Poshmark submitted and offer to seller which was promptly accepted -- all done in 5 minutes. This is one of my changes ebay.
