Subject: Request for Urgent Investigation of Fraudulent Seller – False Delivery Claim
Dear eBay Support Team,
I am writing to request a formal investigation into a fraudulent seller who appears to have fabricated delivery information to falsely mark my purchases as delivered.
Here are the details:
Seller information: New seller, began listing items in April 2026
Purchased items: Item #178023091034 (two units)
Purchase dates: April 6, 2026
Order numbers:
#20-14451-84841 (shipped via FedEx, tracking #429416274258)
#15-14458-84955 (shipped via UPS, tracking #1Z595R421307208658)
On April 7, both FedEx and UPS marked these items as “delivered”—FedEx at 10:49 a.m. and UPS at 1:21 p.m. However, after contacting both carriers directly, I was informed that neither parcel was sent to my address. The seller appears to have used my phone number on two unrelated shipments delivered to entirely different ZIP codes and then submitted those delivery confirmations as proof of successful delivery.
To further illustrate the fraudulent activity, I have attached two pictures:
True delivery photo – FedEx tracking #380352905111, from another legitimate purchase on April 9 (delivered April 10). This image clearly shows my correct address and doorstep.
Fake photo provided by the seller – shows an unrelated location that does not belong to me.
Given the evidence, it is evident that this seller intentionally falsified delivery records to defraud buyers. I respectfully request that eBay investigate this matter and hold the seller accountable.
Please confirm that this complaint and documentation have been received and advise on next steps under the eBay Money Back Guarantee protection.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious issue.
Sincerely,
disneyshopper

Take the tracking number down to your local Fed Ex/UPS office and have them check their GPS for where the package was delivered. If it was NOT addressed to you and your address, have the Fed Ex/UPS clerk state that on their letterhead. They don't need to state the name/address attached to the tracking number, just that it was not addressed to YOU.

Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases:
Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller use a false tracking number
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
