Subject: How to update shipping address after placing order with incorrect apartment number?
Hello eBay Community,
I’m a seller on eBay and received this message from a customer:
"Hello, I bought a diamond from you. You wrote my apartment number incorrectly in my address. Could you please change the address of this order 07-13266-99974, The apartment number is AC22, which is incorrect. The correct address is XXXX. My address is XXX W Orange Ave Apt xxx, Anaheim, CA 92804."
Since this order is through eBay Authenticate Program, I want to know:
✅What is the proper way to get this corrected, since eBay policy doesn’t allow manual changes after the order is placed?
✅Will eBay allow the address correction at this point before final delivery?
✅Any seller-safe way to ensure the parcel reaches the buyer without getting into a return/delay?
This order is getting delayed and I want to resolve it without violating eBay’s rules.
Looking forward to advice from experienced sellers and eBay staff.

You are required to ship to the address that was provided by Ebay in order to keep your seller protection.
The buyer can request a cancellation of their order, you approve the cancellation "at buyer's request" and you can relist so the buyer can re-purchase using the corrected shipping address.

OP1 year agoApart from this, is there any other way because my product has authenticity guarantee , The product has passed after being checked from there

If it has already passed through authenticity on the way to the buyer, the address cannot be changed.
