Sub Category Search Limited to 50 Items Per Page
So, this is time-wasting and concentration interrupting. When I do an advanced search, it only allows me to search eBay's main categories. in my case I'm trying to quickly search the entire 'Roleplaying' category which is a sub category of 'Games' which is a subcategory of 'Toys.'
It gives me the entire toys category, so I then refine to games and then to the roleplaying category. But then it does not allow me to search the category with any more than 50 items per page. I'm trying to scan an entire category every day which usually amounts to between 500 - 2000 items. Doing it 50 items at a time breaks my concentration and disallows me from quickly scanning the category. For 20 years I was able to do it at 200 - 240 items per page. No longer. So, I'm slowed down which means I makes less money and eBay makes less money. How was this a smart move to change what worked so well for so long?
If anyone has answers or a link where it actually works please let me know. I've tried three different browsers, and three different computers. It's not on my end. Strictly an eBay issue.

@eburtonlab, gave you excellent advice about entering a category search, to get results. If you did find a couple of items similar to what you searched for in the earlier searches, had you opened one and looked at the Listed In Category list just below the main search box
Listed in category: Toys and Hobbies > Games > Roll Playing Games > Other Roll Playing Games
By clicking on any of those sub categories you would have been taken to it, and might have found what you were looking for. If 60 items per page was too few for you, at the bottom of the first page you could have used the Items Per Page v box under the last listing on the right side of the screen to increase the items per page to 120 or 240

This is incorrect for whole sub-category search. If I go directly to the subcategories and try to find the per page view at bottom right it does not appear. I'm not interested in search results by keywords. I've literally got 200 of those. I want to see the whole category, not be limited to what may or may not be included in the key words as many people have little idea what they are selling and don't use appropriate titles. I've been able to search sub-categories with 200 - 240 items per page since the year 2000. It abruptly changed two weeks ago and is now non-functional.

Mentor3 years agoTry searching using a keyword rather than simply browsing a category.
Searches typically have more options available than browsing.
If you want to search an entire category, try using a keyword from the category title.
Try this as a starting point:

OP3 years agoThanks for the reply! Unfortunately that is limiting. Previously I was getting all items in the sub-category. By using a key word I simply get items that may or may not include that key-word. I am looking to have the same functionality as they've had for the last 22 years; it abruptly changed about two weeks ago. Keyword searches are insufficient for my purposes.

Mentor3 years agoIf you limit yourself to browsing only, you are stuck with whatever defaults eBay provides.
If you search, you can choose among many options.
If you pick your search keywords with care, you can find just about every relevant listing in a category.
The category Role Playing Games currently contains just shy of 277,000 results that ship to my location.
A search of that category using the category name as keywords returns 270,000+ results.
