Stuck with shipping and taxes on almost 500.00

I will get a refund drag me through the mud but Noone refunded shipping cost 24.00 and taxes 31.00 item was damaged in shipping never received item hiwvusvthis my expense

If you opened either a not-received or a received-damaged claim on eBay, the seller would refund the item plus shipping, and eBay will refund sales tax. If a partial refund was issued through eBay, eBay will refund prorated tax.

If you obtained a refund from the carrier, without opening a claim against the seller on eBay, then you are probably out of luck on the shipping and sales tax. You may need to discuss the situation with eBay Customer support and supply documentation from the carrier.
