strange response from buyer for offer
I am new to ebay (6wks). Buyer A send 3 offers on 3 different items which I accepted. then another offer on a 4th item. The problem is when I listed the 4th item I intended it to be sold as 2 pieces BUT, being new, I accidentally put 2 in the quantity box. I realized I screwed up but didn't know how to fix that so I left it as is.
the price listed was for the 2 pieces. Buyer B bought the 4th item pretty quick and paid $14.00 (price for the 2 pieces). So since #4 still had '1 remaining' Buyer A put in an offer which I declined. I immediately send an email (thru ebay) saying 'sorry but both Tongo Treats have been sold.' Since I declined the offer I expected it to be removed but I saw it in my email this am with '5hs..remaining'. so, again, I sent Buyer A another email telling her both pieces have been sold.
She responded with "Not sure why I am getting daily messages from you. I never ordered tonga treats from you. Please stop messaging me."
I thought 'ok, problem solved' until I looked at the email her 'response with sent from...it is different than her other email.
I've attached what I found. If someone can help me out with this, I would appreciate it.
(I have attached a lot of pics but I don't understand these 'attachment' directions. If someone can walk me thru how to attach pic to this message, I would appreciate it
