stop emails from every bid I make

I go into communication preferences and uncheck the outbid and bid and anything that associates with it, and I still get emails every time I bid

The email notice that you placed a bid is not optional. It is very important to keep it as things can happen that the listing disappears and the email is the only thing you have to be able to reference it, AND it is fast becoming the only place where your maximum bid amount can be found (they got rid of it being on your Purchase History when they merged Bids/Offers: Won into there; and they got rid of the "Customize" tool on the Bids/Offers page so unless you had it set up to display your max bid before they did that I doubt that it is accessible at all).
