Stop a package in international shipping.
Hi,
A buyer in India purchased some items from us. They asked that we use UPS or DHL to make sure that the Indian Postal Service is not involved due to slow service and high customs payments. We sent it by UPS as requested, and it has been delivered to eBay's shipping hub. UPS does not have any other information about the package since they consider it to be delivered.
Now the buyer is asking to cancel the order and stop the shipment because USPS uses the Indian Postal System to complete its deliveries. UPS cannot help since the package has been "delivered". USPS is asking for a tracking number, but I can't find a USPS one associated with the package.
Has anyone dealt with this situation? If so, I would be grateful for any tips or advice.

Mentor2 years ago@malcon_inc. You do not have to cancel the sale, nor should you. If you do this and refund the buyer then they get the item for free, it doesn't stop the shipment.
The shipping method to the EIS hub doesn't determine the shipping method a package will be delivered by in the buyers country.
I have had packages delivered by DHL when I used EIS. I only use priority or ground advantage to the shipping hub.
Assure your buyer that they are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee and if/ when it's past the last estimated delivery date they just need to file a not received refund request.
If the buyer files a refund request then eBay will refund the buyer and you keep the sale. This is the benefit you receive for using the eBay international shipping program.
