stolen tricycle
I bought a tricycle that the seller Kaikalyou26 claims was delivered December 10,2025 by Fed Ex with my signature. I was out of town December 9-11, 2025 and did not sign for it, neither did any family member or neighbor, nor was it ever placed on our property. Refund has been denied due to signature which was fraudulent and Im trying to file a claim with Fed EX. I need sellers name and address for Fed Ex claim, but neither the seller or Ebay "customer service" will help me obtain this info. Fed Ex only gives 60 days to file a claim and I need the information quickly . I have the AI messages from the vendor with no response of information needed. This is the only response I have gotten since my package was fraudulently signed for,
"Dear friend, the item has been delivered correctly as per the address. Please ask your family or neighbors to see if they signed for it. Or check the surveillance to see who took it.
Meanwhile, if you really didn't receive it. We will immediately call the police for the lost item. Since mail theft is a federal crime, we will file any necessary claims with the United States Postal Inspector (also known as the Postal Police). We should thank you for your cooperation when they contact you about the item you didn't receive. They will do so as part of the investigation because there are severe penalties for mail tampering or theft.
Waiting for your reply. You are a good person, God bless you. I wish you a happy life."
So, as the buyer, Im out $118.00, and each party responsible for my package has guarded themselves in such a way that I cannot obtain the information requested and has denied a refund without any human dialogue. It's not right and my money should be returned or at least provide me with a name and address so I cam proceed with my Fed Ex claim within the time remaining.

I'm sorry that happened. You don't need to file a claim with FedEx. eBay will refund you since I don't think the item was shipped to you, and instead it was a fake tracking number. the messages don't make sense since USPIS only works on US mail theft not fedex.
1) First, call the FedEx to see if the tracking number label contained your name and your address.
a) If your name and correct address were on the label, ask Fedex to review the GPS on the delivery, retrieve the item from the wrong house, and deliver it to you.
b) If your name and address weren't on that label, ask the Fedex if they will put this in writing. Also, ask for the weight of the package using that tracking number. Follow the rest of the steps starting with 2 below:
2) Then, report the seller using this process
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
Important, select "The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake USPS tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Request a refund.
Use the Customer Service that is on social media this way:
Just sent a private message to the page. Explain you have a fake or false tracking number situation.
Let me know how this goes, I've been burned a few times myself (including on Amazon), but I have been able to get a refund following this process.
There are additional steps to take if the above isn't effective, just come back and update me.
