Stolen property
@links to members What do I do about a seller selling my stuff that he was to return to me after I refunded him? I have sent copies of the emails to eBay along with the photos of the items showing the exact same items along with a copy of the return of his money which eBay handles the return. The seller has also blocked me so I can’t send him anything. I realize that I guess I should have had him send the items back before returning his money but he had a 669+ positive rating at 100% so I made the mistake of trusting him. Shame on me. Apparently eBay feels there’s nothing wrong with the sellers auction and won’t do anything about it. So I’m thinking about calling his local police department. Any suggestions?

Mentor1 year agoMy last suggestion is to be careful. You are making threats that will not necessarily end with you getting your items or your money back.

Mentor1 year agoSadly, if you refunded before he returned the items, it is not theft or anything else.
There is really nothing you can do, nothing the police will do and nothing that eBay can do.
You refunded him and by refunding before a return, you essentially told him that you don't need the items back.
I don't think it is very honorable for him to keep the items, but that is how the refund process works on eBay.

OP1 year agoI do understand eBay’s rules but what a **bleep** thing for someone to do. What’s wrong with people today. What a sad world we live in.
