Stolen Items Found On EBay

I found stolen items on eBay that are very unique to me and my previous career. The police say ebay is so large they don’t help local law enforcement and if they do it could take forever. Has anyone had this happen and how did you reclaim your stolen items if you were able to.

If you filed a police report that identified the stolen items your police department will need to contact eBay through their special law enforcement number. eBay does cooperate with the police as stolen items are not allowed to be listed on the site. eBay will only do something if contacted properly by law enforcement.

Do you have proof they are stolen? If so, report the listings to Ebay. You can do that by going into the listing, on the lower right side is a "?", click on that and follow the instructions. Just you saying the items are stolen is not enough for anyone to really react to. It is a serious allegation and needs to be supported by proof.
