Stolen credit card information

Question

Has anyone else had their credit cards stolen as soon as you purchased something from a vendor. Today that happened to me and they attempted to use my credit card at five different places. Luckily it was declined each time.

You should contact your credit card company ASAP so they can shut down that account and issue you a new card.

As already stated, the seller has no access to your payment information. All the seller knows is whether you paid yet or not.

It is not possible for a seller/vendor to steal your credit card information because sellers never see the payment information nor what payment method you used to pay Ebay for your purchase.

Were you using a public computer to purchase the item on Ebay and forgot to sign out?

eBay does not share credit card info with sellers. Buyers pay eBay directly, then eBay pays sellers through a separate transaction using an ACH payment to the seller's credit card account.

Check your device and your network to ensure that you have not allowed remote access to your computer if you have not used your card anywhere else.
