Stolen before delivery

Hi, i am trying to report my purchase was delivered in a gold envelope empty! The top is torn open and even the carrier noticed it was torn when she delivered it! The seller said to contact eBay and i searched and can’t find anything! Any guidance would be appreciated!

@camc-5691 The postal carrier should have marked the envelope as delivered empty.

You need to file a return refund request since the seller is not assisting you. You may have to mail back the empty envelope if the seller doesn't willingly issue a refund.

Do NOT file a item not received case as tracking shows delivery.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories AND 3 days for Trading Cards.

Here's what you need to do:

Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos. OR missing parts/ pieces.

Let me know if you need to return an item to another country as there are additional steps required. The seller pays return shipping for an item that is not as described no matter where they are located.
