Still charged
I posted a steam unit add on for a pressure washer and I thought the fee money would come out of selling it. It dosent and I seen that within 5 minutes of posting it, so I removed the post because I didn’t want charged and now I can’t talk to a real person to get my money back. How do I talk to someone so they can see that it was immediately removed?

·3 years agoWhen you use a reserve, you're charged as soon as it's listed and it doesn't matter if you end the listing, you still have to pay the fee for using it.
Just start the auction at the price you want.

Using a reserve is very expensive and non refundable.
If you need $750 for the carpet machine, then start the listing at $750, not $41.
I’m not sure how you will ship that item to the neighbouring county for $37, let alone California. It’s probably too large for USPS to handle.
UPS or FedEx would be the way to go. It will not go in a cardboard box, so it may have to have a crate made.
Cut your losses. End all the listings with a reserve. When and if you relist, start the bidding at what would be your reserve.
I would not list the carpet machine on eBay. It’s too bulky. Shipping will cost at least $100, but you won’t know for sure until you have it crated/boxed. Take the crate measurements and weight to UPS or FedEx website and see what it says about shipping costs.
